Presented annually in late June by the NNY-Fort Drum AUSA and FMWR, Riverfest is a day of relaxation and fun for Soldiers, their families, and friends of AUSA. Participants spend the day in the beautiful Thousands Islands at Alexandria Bay, NY.
The day is highlighted by boat tours of the Thousand Islands with a tour of historic Boldt Castle, games and food. In 2011 there were over 5,000 participants.

Presented in December by the NNY-Fort Drum AUSA and FMWR, the Chidren's Christmas Party is the highlight of the season. Children are able to sit with Santa and always leave with gifts. The evening includes entertainment and food on this festive night.
Held in June, AUSA participates in Fort Drum's Birthday Ball. At this dinner AUSA recognizes its Volunteer of the Year, the Army Civilian of the Year, AUSA Corporate Member of the Year, Family of the Year, 10th Mountain Division NCO and Soldier of the Year, and the Guard NCO and Soldier of the Year. The dinner is always highlighted by a distinguished speaker and celebrates the Army's birthday.

Held annually in August, the AUSA golf tournament, named in memory of Dan Norwalk, a former soldiers, brings together our corporate members with Soldiers for a day of golf and fun. Corporate members support the event with prizes and sponsorships. Many pay for half of a Soldier's registration fee to play in the tournament.
